I bet our life experiences have similarities. With 25 years in the banking and finance industry, I still found myself confused with all the complicated jargons and terminologies. I remember my first mortgage process was like reading a contract in a foreign language I simply could not understand. Never mind the 100 steps it took until you finally got the actual keys to the house.

After I finished graduate school, I had both student loan debts and credit card debts to pay off. The compounding, deceptive interest and credit card statements with terms and conditions written in lines of fine print literally scared me and made me fearful of what I was facing. I TOTALLY get how you also feel and how it is so mind numbing! And yes, I too cried at times. And got so angry at the same time. I was scared.

But 13 years ago, I started learning bit by bit the truth of the systems and I actually figured out ways to learn them better so I could control it and be proactive with my knowledge.
